Our National Night Out was a blast!! We feed about 150 people, jerk chicken, strawberry lemonade, drinks, chips. Several folks brought salads and one of our order members set up a table with Rasta paraphernalia which went over real big. We had folks from as far away as Elk Grove and Citrus Heights come and join our neighbors. We had dancing, nerf football, lots of talking circles, and people just enjoying each other.
The only official to show their face was Jay Schenirer, with Joe Devlin. Our neighbors were impressed to see them out. They were disappointed that the Mayor didn’t show, but no one thought he really would.
