I’m planning my seventh neighborhood block party this month. And I credit block parties for why my rental house appreciated to the point where we recieved a bid for $20K over the asking price.

    What an inspirational post! A landlord taking the initiative to become an effective community leader. Showcasing a neighborhood’s vitality while increasing its property value should be every landlord’s goal!

    Well said Eunice. It’s in our own self-interest to help improve our communities. Seems like this is obvious to every CEO except most landlords. Maybe we don’t know where to start… I’ll list some suggestions to help out.
